FlawLess

Why is it that women think that we always have a flaw?  I have yet to meet a woman that feels that she is flawless.  Well, that is just sad really.  When I was younger, I remember thinking I was fat or at the very least chubby!  Man, if I could go back to being that “fat” or “chubby” I’d take it in a heartbeat!  My high school years were brutal at times because of my breakouts.  Acne was my worst enemy and always made me feel very self-conscious!

I am older now, so I am not quite as hard on myself.  However, these 2 things that haunted me in my youth still bother me from time to time.  I do more to help my situation.  I work out, but don’t focus on my weight as much as I do with feeling strong and if my clothes fit, I’m good.  Now I have other issues…. sunspots on my face, grey hair, and wrinkles!  Ugh!  I am trying to embrace getting older, but some days are harder than others.

I really wish all women could see themselves as flawless or accepts their flaws because we ALL have them!  Even that woman that you think is perfect, she probably doesn’t think that.  I’m sure she could easily tell you a few of her flaws.  Do whatever to make you happy because you have less flaws than you think.  Be kinder to yourself!  Being a woman is tough enough, without bringing ourselves down!

Take time to say something nice to another woman today – also, try saying something nice to yourself as well!
